Blackboard is a course management system that enables instructors to interact with course materials online. Instructors can post syllabi, assignments, and assessments and also use built-in communication tools, such as the Discussion Board, to promote active learning in their courses. Student grades can be recorded in the Grade Center.
The GW Lecture Capture service simplifies the course recording process for GW faculty by automating the capture, upload, and delivery of audio and video recordings of lectures.
GW Mobile provides instant access to information on key university resources from a web-enabled mobile device. The app is available for iOS, Android, and Mobile Web. GW Mobile includes campus maps, a schedule of classes, GW Email access, 4-Ride reservations, social media feeds, shuttle information, and more.
Colonial Printing is a cloud-based, wireless printing service enabling you to print from anywhere on or off campus, and even from your smartphone or tablet.
Academic Technologies supports transformative innovations at GW through the incorporation of collaborative design into new and existing academic teaching spaces.
The Faculty Workstation Initiative (FWI) is a computer refresh program, which provides a quality workstation to one-third of eligible faculty positions each year.
