Whiteboard Presentation

Whiteboard Presentation allows instructors to display content from the designated whiteboard area over the presentation display systems in classrooms. This service is available in select rooms on the Foggy Bottom Campus. 

 

Instructions for Funger 103, 108; Monroe 111 (Kaptivo)

  1. Select Computer or Laptop on the Touch Panel, depending on which device you will use to broadcast Whiteboard Presentation

  2. On the computer or laptop, visit kaptivo.live and enter your name and the Kaptivo ID, which can be found on the Kaptivo device above the whiteboard

  3. Press the blue button with the video icon video icon located next to the whiteboard

  4. Your whiteboard content can now be shared on the presentation display

    • Note that whiteboard presentation captures content in a designated 4’x6’ area.

  5. Optional - click the full screen icon full screen icon in the upper right corner to enter full screen mode. Exit full screen mode at any time by pressing ‘Esc’ on the keyboard

  6. Users may download a PDF slide deck of the session at any time

  7. To end your session, select LEAVE on the top right side of the page

 

Instructions for 1957 E St B12, 113, 213 (Airboard)

  1. Select Computer or Laptop on the Touch Panel, depending on which device you will use to broadcast Whiteboard Presentation

  2. On the computer or laptop, visit airboard.crestron.com and enter your name and the Airboard ID, which can be found on the Airboard device above the whiteboard.

    • Note that the code is not required. You may opt to create a code to share your session. 

  3. Press the blue button with the video icon video icon located next to the whiteboard.

  4. Your whiteboard content can now be shared on the presentation display.

    • Note that the whiteboard presentation captures content in a designated 4’x6’ area.

  5. Optional - click the full screen icon full screen icon in the upper right corner to enter full screen mode. Exit full screen mode at any time by pressing ‘Esc’ on the keyboard

  6. Users may download a PDF slide deck of the session at any time.

  7. To end your session, select LEAVE on the top right side of the page.  

Download slides to share with anyone

During Whiteboard Presentation sessions, users may download a PDF version of the session for future viewing. 

On the bottom of the page, click the DOWNLOAD/SHARE download icon button. 

Select Slide Deck (PDF) and save the file.

 

Once the PDF has been downloaded, instructors can send the file via email or upload the PDF directly to Blackboard.

Whiteboard Presentation sessions cannot be recovered once the session has ended.
