Wireless Presentation
With Wireless Presentation, instructors can sync their portable devices to wirelessly present content in the classroom. This service is available in select rooms on the Foggy Bottom Campus, Mount Vernon Campus, and Virginia Science and Technology Campus.

Step 1: Download the Application
If you have previously connected to the system, you don’t need to download the application again. You can skip to Step 2.
To download application for your computer visit the Crestron download site and choose your operating system installer.
Note: The deployable application is recomended.

To download AirMedia for your mobile device please visit the Apple or Google Play Store.
Crestron AirMedia for iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Step 2: Connect Your Device
Laptop
Windows

Open the Crestron AirMedia program.

If prompted, enter the IP Address (the digits following the "http://") located on the display screen in the lower left corner. Click CONNECT.

Enter the four-digit code shown on the display screen in the lower left corner. Click OK.
MacOS

Open the Crestron AirMedia program.

If you are connecting for the first time, use the Search field to type in the IP Address (the digits following the "http://") located on the display screen in the lower left corner. Click CONNECT.

If you have previously connected to the system in this classroom, you can find the IP address under Recents.

Follow the on-screen prompts to use AirPlay (
in the top right menu bar). You should see the IP address listed under AirPlay To:

Enter the four-digit Code shown on the display screen in the lower left corner.
Mobile Device

Open the Crestron AirMedia app.

Type the IP Address (the digits following the "http://") located in the bottom left corner of the screen into the URL field. Tap the Present with AirMedia button.

If you are using an iOS device (iPhone/iPad), follow the on-screen instructions to use AirPlay. Access AirPlay by swiping up to display the Control Center. The IP address will display after tapping Screen Mirroring.

If you have previously connected to the system in this classroom, you can find the host name under Recents.

Enter the four-digit code display on the screen in the lower left corner if prompted. Click OK.
Step 1: Wireless Presentation Device Compatibility
To setup Wireless Presentation with AppleTV, your device must meet these requirements:

Step 2: Setup Your Device for Wireless Presentation (AppleTV)
iOS Device (iPad, iPhone)
When you are in a Wireless Presentation classroom with AppleTV, follow these on-screen instructions to sync your iOS mobile device for Wireless Presentation. Wireless Presentation is not supported by Lecture Capture and Web Conferencing.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth function.

Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access the Control Center and select
AirPlay.

Select your location and room number and turn on Mirroring.

Enter the passcode displayed on the classroom lectern touch panel when prompted for a passcode on your device.

In some classrooms, your iOS device’s image will display on the lectern touch panel. Press Share Video to project the image.
To disconnect your device, return to the Airplay screen on your device (step 2) and select your device name (e.g. iPhone or iPad).
Mac
When you are in a Wireless Presentation classroom with AppleTV, follow these on-screen instructions to sync your Mac for Wireless Presentation. Wireless Presentation is not supported by Lecture Capture and Web Conferencing.

Turn on Bluetooth from the menu bar.

Click the AirPlay icon
from the menu bar and select your location and room number.

Enter the passcode displayed on the classroom lectern touch panel when prompted for a passcode on your device.

In some classrooms, your desktop will display on the lectern touch panel. Choose either Extended Desktop or one of the mirroring options under Use AirPlay Display To in the AirPlay menu.
To disconnect your device, return to the AirPlay menu and choose Disconnect AirPlay Display.
